Diamonds are a ladies best friends. This phrase has been around as long as I can remember, and it is still true. I am not any different than the next lady in line except I like all kinds of stones.
   Mom and I have figured out how to have more jewelry, we purchase one piece and share it. We both love pins and Mom has made her pins her signature.
   I can not resist a pretty necklace with my birthstone which is the amethyst. Mom’s favorite is the beautiful garnet and she has some elegant rings with that stone as the focal spot.

   I have rings on all but one of my fingers and I wear them all the time. I do not purchase my jewelry to hide in a drawer or a box. Some of my favorite stones are garnet, amethyst, aquamarine, diamond, emerald. alexandrite, ruby, peridot, sapphire, opal. pink tourmaline, topaz, blue xircon and jade.
   Most females will own something with their birthstone, earrings, bracelets, necklace or even a toe ring. We also like to wear our faith such as crosses. The symbols of Christian faith; the cross, the dove, or the fish can be found in gold, silver, and all types of stones.
   So far I have been talking about women’s jewelry. Men also purchase jewelry for themselves; money clip, ring, bracelet or necklaces are just a few items that men would enjoy in gold or silver.
